Food Odes combined poetry with art to discuss food insecurity. I took inspiration from the poems but also included markers of my own culture. This project was created and funded by the Association for Central Oklahoma Government.
ACOG used minority artists and partnered with a women-owned business. Vanessa House Beer Co. hosted the art. The broadsides were auctioned off. All proceeds went to a non-profit of the restaurant's choice.
